About

I feel privileged to practice the Bowen technique, and help people improve their overall health and well-being. I prefer to treat the whole person – their body, mind and soul, and I love that Bowen addresses these by working on the cause, rather than the symptoms.

To work so gently via the body’s central nervous system, encouraging the body out of the “fight and flight” stress mode, and into “rest and repair” mode so that the body can do its own healing, as nature intended, can be very rewarding.

I’ve been a Remedial Massage Therapist for 10 years, but when I began receiving Bowen treatments during this time it didn’t take long for me to feel the positive results and realise that I needed to learn this technique. I find that many of my clients have faster and longer lasting results with Bowen compared to massage, and it can be much gentler on the body.

I provide a professional no nonsense approach, and a calm space for you to relax.

I love to work with children, and the whole family.

About

I found Bowen Therapy while living in Midsomer Norton in England.  Bowen Therapy resonated with me.  It helps with so many painful or life debilitating conditions.  And when learning the basics on the first weekend course, it was amazing the effects it was having on the people I was treating.  I completed the course in 2010,  I am proud to be a registered practitioner.

Now  living in Havelock North since 2015 after time in England, Malaysia, Turks and Caicos Islands and Dubia.  I still work as a nurse at Hastings hospital, but have a very flexible schedule to be available for when clients need me.  Whenever I have over done things and feeling a bit sore or over fatigued I book my own Bowen session as it helps me recover.  I find it better than massage.

I enjoy the flexibility of my home clinic in Arataki Road Havelock North, and also being able to use the wellness room at the hospital for staff to have appointments. I have two teenage children Matthew 17 and Jasmine 14.  I enjoy playing tennis with Havelock North Tennis club and going on bike rides on our amazing bike trails in the area. Find out how I can help you. My hours are flexible to fit in with you.  Bookings can be made by calling me or by visiting my website.

About

I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife with interests in natural therapies so I was delighted to discover Bowen therapy some 20 years ago.

Having suffered from constant pain for years, I found relief with the Bowen technique.

I have a special interest in mothers with traumatic pregnancies and difficult births and how the babies are affected by this.

While in the UK for 2 years recently I had the privilege to further my understanding in how Bowen therapy can help such babies and children.

I work from my clinic at home, but I am happy to visit rest homes and residences if the need arises.
